Here’s where you get to have a say.
We’re going to try something a little different. Rather than allowing comments on every post, we would like to provide one place for all comments about our trip.
Comments are moderated, so if your comments don’t show up right away— or at all— know that we will read them all and only post the ones that we choose to make public. It’s a form of email for those who don’t have our addresses handy.
“Hm” zei Tom Poes.
Parking near Viagra Falls as you did is called the “DWoP” or the “Dutch Way of Parking”.
happy trails! wishing you much fun – and enjoying your updates!
Glacier NP is so beautiful! glad you got to hike after so much car time…
route 30 – you’re on Comm Ave!
Not quite – in Newton it is state route 30. However, today we are in Newport, Oregon, the western end of US route 20, down the road from Wayland and Waltham. US 20 ends as Comm Ave.
Too bad you couldn’t get a picture of the 405 freeway during Carmagedon. All the other pics are fabulous!
Sorry, but I misspelled Carmagedon. It should be Carmaggedon.
What a fantastic trip many highlights, great photography, what an experience!
P.J. – what a trip! I really like the Arizona pictures. I was there three weeks ago visiting my Dad in Cornville (near Cottonwood). My favorite shot is the storm clouds near the Grand Canyon. That’s one angry sky!
Hurray for rest areas! I don’t know about you guys, but I need them on a regular basis when I travel.
Welcome home P.J. and Arjan. We really enjoyed reading about your adventures and looking at the pictures. No doubt you have enough memories to last you for a while. See you soon!
