The Voyage of the Vikings cruise visited <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Newfoundland<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Labrador<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Greenland<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Iceland<\/span><\/strong>, the <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Faroe Islands<\/span><\/strong>, and <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Norway<\/span><\/strong>, arriving in <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Amsterdam<\/span><\/strong> at the end of July.<\/p>\n<p>After landing, we visited friends and family in <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Rotterdam<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Amsterdam<\/span><\/strong>, and <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Groningen<\/span><\/strong>. From Groningen, we took the train to <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Brussels<\/span><\/strong>, where we boarded the EuroStar for a high-speed train ride\u00a0through the Chunnel (Channel Tunnel) to <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">London<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After a few days in London, we headed to <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Devon<\/span><\/strong> to visit more friends in South West England. After Devon, we drove through <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Wales<\/span><\/strong> to <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Manchester<\/span><\/strong>, England, for the Icelandair flight home via <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Reykjav\u00edk<\/span><\/strong>, Iceland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 0.85em;\">Photographs of the ms Veendam, \u00a9 2014 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pjgardner.com\/\" title=\"P.J.'s home page\">P.J.
