Perry L. Gardner: Private Journal #36
Tuesday, 9 AM, OAT 56°F, October 1, 1991
Good morning, Journal. Yesterday, we went to the Taproots writing workshop at the Dix Hills Library. It should be very helpful in encouraging us to write it down, but how to begin…?
Arthur Champaigne is the facilitator, and my first hint was to stop researching and write it down. Good point.
I volunteered to send out a mailing for the American Heart Association, and I must get to it. I also volunteered to cut down a tree for Ginnie James, who is 91. I cut down the tree, which was bigger than expected, and now I have to cut it up and take it off her lawn.
Actually, with all these things to do pressing at me, I can’t be comfortable writing in my journal this morning, so will have to wait for a quiet time.
